1. When I try to enter the Virtual Classroom the page doesn't display itself completely and I get the message "Unable to load applet chat...
You should activate the Java Virtual Machine in the Advanced Options in your browser. It may be necessary to reboot your computer before the new options take effect.
 

2. The Java Virtual Machine is activated in my browser and I still am unable to access the Virtual Classroom
Your system is probably protected by a firewall. Please ask your System Engineer to contact our support team.

3. With which browsers does Classleader function?
Classleader functions with Internet Explorer 4.1 and later and Netscape (Mozilla) 4.5 and later.
 

4. How are grades attributed?
The Grade button leads to a form where the trainer can enter a grade. The grades are then posted on the synoptic form (they replace the status of the student for the assignment in question).

5. When a user wants to modify a document that has been uploaded what should he do?
He should modify his original document and then in ClassLeader upload the modified document.

6. While uploading files, I get the error "Filename Problem: Please rename your file" What is wrong?
Please check to make sure that there are no spaces in your file names. Also, file names should be no longer than 8 characters and contain no special characters such as: ~ ! @ _ % # & ^ etc.

7. What is the difference between an Assignment and a Subactivity?
An Assignment is is a work order that is applied to individual Students. Use Assignments to give single Students extra work where needed.

A Subactivity is applied to a whole class. You can think of Subactivities as homework or in-class work that the whole class is required to work on.


8. Within the software, I see a box marked "Optionally Check Next" what is this?

On the screens in which a user is to supply data, there is a check box marked Optionally Check Next. If you remove the check from this box, you will be returned to the Control Panel for your Course after entering data on a form. Conversely, if you would like to return to the working screen after submitting information, leave the check in the box.
