The
Edit Multimedia screen is organized into two panels:
Section A: The Left Panel will let you add a multimedia
activity, update or delete an existing one. A pull down menu
in the upper left corner will let you retrieve a multimedia
activity that was previously entered. You need to complete
the form to submit a new multimedia activity or modify an
existing one.
Section B: The Right Panel will let you select a multimedia
activity to be performed by a learner. More specifically:
a) To add a new multimedia activity to be performed
by a learner:
- i) Select a learner from the student list, - ii) Go to the
right panel and select a multimedia activity and click on
Change Activity. - iii) Then go back to the Left Panel, and
complete the form by entering a Question-ID (the Activity-ID,
the Media-Activity and the Media File have been transferred
from the Right Panel), then provide (optionally) a Text, Document
URL, Form Type (text, textarea, option, radio-vertical, checkbox,
radio-horizontal), Points awarded, Image URL, Audio-Media
URL, the Exercise and the list of choices marked as True/False
and click on Confirm.
b)To modify or delete an existing multimedia activity,
retrieve it from the menu on the upper left of the screen,
make the necessary changes, and click on Confirm or Delete.
c) To Upload a document or image, click on the Upload
Button, then follow the instructions to upload:
- When you
are on the Upload Screen, click one by one on each Browse
button. When, and only when, all the file names to upload
appear in their respective textarea, click on the Upload File
button. - The next screen will display: Upload finished. Read
the information, then click on Add Document. - You will be
back to the Add Multimedia screen: the multimedia form will
now include the URL of each file you uploaded. Complete the
multimedia form with any information you want to add, then
click on Confirm.
d) The Initialize button lets you delete previous student
answers.
e) The Start/Stop button lets you start/stop the test
by hiding the Media Test button from the learner's screen.
f) The Trial button lets you set the number of trials
(listed in the menu next to the Trial button) before a learner
can see the correct answer, in self-test mode.
