The Control Panel is the heart of the system. It
is like the cockpit of an airplane: its objective is to
provide the trainer with all control commands necessary
to pilot the learners through the learning process.
1. Pull Down Menus:
First, you will find three pull down menus:
- Lesson: will let you select a lesson.
- Course: will let you move to another course.
- Student: will let you select a student.
2. List of Lessons:
Second, you will find your lessons listed in a table. To
access a lesson, click on its name in the first column labeled
Lesson_id.
3. Control links: Third, you will find a collection
of links organized in 4 categories: Course, Consult, Personal,
Communicate:
a) Course: here you can:
-Check your student's enrollment,
-Enter, link or upload your lessons,
-Prepare your course outlines,
-Create course resources,
-Prepare Slide Presentations,
b) Consult: here you can:
-Check your Student Dictionary,
-Consult your student projects,
-Consult your student status,
-Consult your student progress,
-Consult your student tests,
-View the Class Photo,
c) Personal: you need to enter a lesson to view this
category.
d) Communicate: here you can:
- Post Announcements,
- Join your students in the RealTime Electronic Class,
- Participate in a Forum,
- Access the log of your student interactions.
4. Range of Lessons: A parameter can be set to display
only a limited range of lessons.
5. Current Lesson: You can specify a current lesson
when editing your lessons (use the lesson link in the course
category).
