Create Assignments
In previous steps you learned how to Create Courses, and Lessons, communicate with your students, and answer their questions.
Now, you will learn how to Create Assignments to go with your Lessons.
1. To create assignments, log in to ClassLeader then select a course
that you have already created. The Control Panel for that course will open, then, once you are on the Control Panel, Click
the link for the appropriate Lesson.
2. On the Lessons panel, click the Assignments link at the top of the
page.
3. You will access the Assignment Screen, which will display, on the right panel,
a list of entries submitted by the current student, and on the left panel, the assignment form:
Example:
------------------------------------------------------------
Assignment: (drop-menu of assignments: week1, week2, ..)
Assign-url: (ex: http://...)
Assign-name: (ex: week1)
------------------------------------------------------------
4. You can retrieve a student assignment, by selecting it in the
drop-menu. The assignment will be displayed on the form. You can make corrections if necessary.
5. NOTE: Since you can access your student assignments from their list on the right panel, the only purpose of the form is to allow the teacher to access the student assignment record and make appropriate changes, if the teacher needs to make such changes (usually to help the student).
6. A table of students is provided on the right panel, with a color code showing who posted an assignment. This table lets you change the current
student by selecting him/her from the table.
7. To facilitate communication about Assignments, the screen includes also, on the right panel,
links to all of your student's email addresses.
The Next Step, will be to show you how to create tests, then access the tests taken by your students.
Optionally, find out how to access
your student's assignments.
