A. Announce your Course via Email:
1. In the previous steps you learned how to create your course and your lessons.
2. To announce your course to your students, the easiest way is to send them an email message giving them:
a) The URL of ClassLeader and
the ReadMe documents.
b) Your User Name as a Trainer
c) The course number of your course
d) The special Learner Key (if used) to register into the system
e) Your Course Key, if you decide to protect your course with a Key.
B. To place an Announcement on Course Selection screen's Rotoscope:
1. To post an announcement on the Course Selection screen, log in to ClassLeader, then when you reach the Select a Course screen, Click on the Announcement link.
2. You will access the Announcement screen, which has a form to fill:

Announcement-url: (ex: http://...)
Use Announcement-url to link to any document available on
the Internet.
If you choose to upload an announcement, this link will
be entered automagically.
Announcement-url-name: (ex: welcome_message)

3. To finish, click on the button called Confirm.
4. The new announcement will be saved and added to the drop-menu located to the left of the UPLOAD button.
5. Optionally, you can upload your announcement from your PC to the server.
C. To place an Announcement on Control Panel Rotoscope:
1. You can also post Announcements on the Control Panel. Select a course from the Courses screen, at the Control Panel, click on the Announcement link. Fill-in the form (identical to the one shown above), and click on Confirm to save the announcement.
